Commercial real estate firm Kidder Mathews has announced the promotion of Christina Twidale to senior vice president of corporate marketing and communications, overseeing brand strategy and brokerage marketing operations.

Twidale succeeds retired Chief Marketing Officer Karen Benoit.

In her new role, Twidale will serve on Kidder Mathews’ 10-person leadership team, which leads 80 marketing professionals across the firm’s 19 Western U.S. locations.

In 2006, Twidale began her career at Kidder Mathews’ downtown Seattle headquarters as a marketing assistant and graphic designer. Over the years, her role evolved from marketing director to vice president of marketing to, now, SVP of marketing. In 2015, she became a shareholder.

Before assuming her new position, Twidale played a key role in shaping the Kidder Mathews brand and marketing strategy, a release noted. Her achievements include leading the company through four rebrands, such as one in 2019 celebrating the firm’s 50th anniversary and a complete refresh in 2023.

During Twidale’s time at the helm of the design team, the Kidder Mathews Marketing Group won more than 10 awards since 2019 — including Top Influencers in Marketing from GlobeSt. and Public Relations & Marketing Excellence from Business Intelligence Group. This year, Twidale was also honored by GlobeSt. as a Woman of Influence in the Marketing/Communications Professional category.
